What's the difference between Kudos and constructive feedback?

Constructive skill-based feedback is a way for peers to provide direct, actionable feedback to help their colleagues grow in their role. Selecting a skill when giving this kind of feedback keeps it constructive, rather than critical. And constructive feedback will always remain private, sent as a Slack DM to the recipient to review.

What if I have multiple teams?

You can use Matter in multiple Slack channels. For example, teams that are separated by time zone or job functions (e.g., engineer, design) will be able to have their own Feedback Fridays.

Does Matter offer workspace analytics for admins?

Yes! Admins can now view team Analytics from their Web App dashboard. This includes team engagement, top participants, usage over time, and more.

What are the access and control differences between Workspace Creators and Members?

Workspace Creators can access and change workspace settings for the whole team. Additionally, they can delete a Matter workspace.

How does pricing work?

Matter will always have a free version available to try, to make quality feedback accessible to all. Should you choose to upgrade to our Pro Plan, we charge $5 per member per month, or $3 per member per month with a yearly subscription discount.

How does the free trial work?

The free trial is 30 days and does not require a credit card to start. During the free trial teams get unlimited access to all Matter products and features, listed here.

What happens when the free trial is over?

At the end of your free 30-day trial, if a payment method has not been added, then all features of your Matter Slack channel and Web App workspace will be locked. For example, team members will not be able to give or receive Kudos. In order to unlock the channel and workspace, a payment method will need to be added to the workspace. Channel Owner/Admins can add a payment method in the Web App workspace: Channel Settings > Billing.
