It's simple: we don't require any payment information for the free trial.

You only pay when a Matter Admin approves a reward request, which means you don't prepay for rewards/coins. This cost is billed separate from your subscription.

‍Gift Cards, Prepaid Cards & Donations

The cost of the reward is the face value plus a 3% transaction fee to cover automatic delivery fees. So for example, a $10 Amazon Gift Card will be cost $10.30. You can avoid this 3% fee by funding a rewards account balance (details here).

Custom Rewards

There is no cost associated with custom rewards because Matter Admins are responsible for the delivery of their own reward.

We only charge for team members that are in a Matter-connected Slack/Teams channel, not the entire workspace. For example, if your workspace has 100 members, but only 20 are in your Matter channel, you would be billed for 20 channel members. No hidden setup or implementation fees.

Billing plan options are monthly or annual. Billing is pro-rated daily based on the number of channel users. The invoice amount will be automatically adjusted and charged at the end of the billing cycle to the payment method on file. In other words, you'll only pay based on the number of channel users and how long they are in the Matter-connected Slack/Teams channel. Learn more about adding/removing channel members here.

The Pro plan is ideal for saving time and boosting engagement with automatic reward delivery, birthdays/ anniversaries, and advanced reporting.

The Pro + Surveys plan is perfect for 10x'ing your response rate with employee surveys in Slack/Teams and receiving real-time, continuous feedback and insights.
