Hi there, Sam from Matter here, and in this video, I'm going to show you how you can recognize your teammates all inside Microsoft Teams. More specifically, we're gonna look at kudos recognition, Feedback Friday reminders, and lastly, celebrations. Please note, this video might have different workspace settings than your actual Matter workspace. Your settings are configured by your Matter admin. So for example, you might have kudos types around company values. Great. So let's first look at giving kudos. Simply be inside the channel, and in here, click the Give Kudos button.

Go ahead and select one or more people to recognize. Select the kudos type. This is the actual card that the message is delivered on. Type in your message of praise, you can use emojis to make it more fun, and then send it either publicly or potentially privately through the chat. And that's it. It's that simple. Kudos are sent in real time, emoji reactions, replies, just like any other Teams message. Next, we're gonna look at Feedback Friday reminders.

So Feedback Friday, simply put, is a dedicated day to giving kudos. Matter is gonna send you a few reminders just encouraging you to take a moment out of your busy day. And towards the end of the day, there's gonna be a fun recap showing everybody who participated throughout the entire week. So please note you don't have to wait until Feedback Friday and give kudos. You can do it anytime in the moment. Lastly, we're gonna look at birthday and work anniversary celebrations. Your admin may have added in everybody's dates, but if not, you might be getting a direct message from Matter to fill in the date yourself. Please note that is self-serve optional.

You don't have to participate unless you don't want to. If you do wanna opt out, you you can at any time. Either go to the Matter tab here at the top, or if you have the app home pinned on your sidebar, go in there and go into our web app, go into celebrations, and you can add or remove the dates, and you can choose to public, or you can choose to privately celebrate your celebration as well. Great.
