Only one person needs to install Matter in Microsoft Teams, add it to any desired team & channel, and whoever is in that Teams team can start using Matter right away. Team members don't need to download anything or create an account — it's all through Microsoft Teams' SSO. Yes. Matter can be installed in a public or private Microsoft Teams team and in a public channel. Microsoft Teams does not allow apps to be installed in a private channel. If your team structure changes later, admins can also transfer Matter to a new Microsoft Teams channel, but only within the same team.
