Hi there, Sam from Matter here, and in this video, I'm gonna show you how you can send Pulse and eNPS surveys in Slack with Matter. More specifically, we're gonna look at the survey setup, the survey itself, and lastly, the results. So we're gonna start off inside of the web app, and just to clarify, we really designed Pulse surveys to help companies get real-time feedback on how people are thinking and feeling. All of our Pulse surveys are anonymous, which help produce unbiased feedback.

We're gonna start inside the web app here and go into Pulse surveys. And first off, all of our surveys are gonna use a question library. By default, this question library will have over 100 questions across 10 categories and 26 subcategories. You can customize this however you see fit. Simply go into the View Question Library. You're gonna see your categories, as well as your questions and your subcategories as well. Essentially, these are the questions that are gonna be intelligently distributed via those Pulse surveys to users inside of Slack. We make sure with your Pulse surveys, depending on how many questions you have in there, that users generally will not receive the same question more than once in the last 90 days.

Great, so that's just setting your question library. Next, we're going to look at your settings. Go into settings here, go into Pulse surveys, and here's we're going to be able to customize those settings. So you can go ahead and you can select who the recipients are, you could exclude people, you can select the frequency of the survey, you can adjust the question count here as well, you can enable and disable the eNPS question as well, as well as adjust the frequency.

You can get notified of real-time anonymous feedback inside of Slack and select who gets notified. You can enable smart reminders. And lastly, we'd recommend adding on coins for survey completions. Please note, Matter is one of the only companies that allows you to reward for survey completion. We've seen our response rates increased by over 35% when coins are added. So go ahead and confirm your settings, and then simply hit Launch. It's that simple. People are gonna get notified of this Pulse survey directly inside of Slack.

Under Apps, under MatterBot, you'll see that red dot notification. And here's what it's gonna look like. It'll state that there's a new Pulse survey. If there's a coin reward, it'll state it as well. It'll state who it's from, and it'll state that it's anonymity, that it's anonymous. So we'll go ahead and hit Start Pulse Survey. Again, it's gonna state that it's anonymous survey. If you have the eNPS question enabled, that'll be the first question asked, and so you can go ahead and select an answer for that.

All of our questions use an agree-disagree scale, that five-point Likert scale, just helping be consistent in avoiding survey fatigue for users. So you can go ahead and select a feedback, and then you can also leave in, after each question, an anonymous comment. These are the comments that are going to be directly sent to the admin. You can go ahead and select there as well, and you can skip the question if need be.

Hit send, and that's it. The survey is super simple. That comment will be sent to an admin as well in real time inside of the direct message from MatterBot. And then if we want to go back in and we want to view our survey results, we can go back into Pulse survey here. We can do a custom date range. We can filter by either segments or teams within here to look at our data. Please note that the segment must have three or more members. We can also look at our engagement score, go into individual engagement categories and view the feedback here.

We can filter by subcategories here as well, look at score distributions, and then we can also go into those and look at the comments there as well to really dive deep into that feedback of how we can adjust. Also, you're going to have your eNPS score here as well, you can view the details and view all the comments over time, as well as your participation rate. All this data is downloadable and exportable in our download report right up here. So that's pretty much Pulse surveys with Matter.
